A band I may start obsessing over soon.

Just was dashing around the internet when I stumbled on a band from Australia called “The Middle East.” It seems that they had an E.P. released in October, broke up, then reformed shortly after. So, I guess we are just getting word from them as of now because of that release and member change. The E.P. is called “The Recordings of The Middle East” and other then a title I dig, the music is quite enjoyable. Bearing a close resemblance to bands like Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes, Cat power. It’s only suiting that they are opening for both Grizzly Bear, and Cat Power in Australia. Resemblance is quite the help to The Middle East.
